Information collected

This site counts visits automatically to understand where its readers are. Each page load adds to daily totals for approximate country, city and network provider. These are separate summaries, not individual visitor records. Repeat visits count again.

Cloudflare processes your connection’s IP address to provide approximate location and network information. The custom analytics database stores only counters: no IP addresses, visitor identifiers, browser fingerprints, page URLs, referrers or individual visit times. Locations can be inaccurate, especially with VPNs and mobile networks.

Purpose and retention

The statistics are used only to understand readership of this portfolio. Daily totals expire after 90 days. The dashboard is private and password-protected. These numbers represent visits, not unique people.

Cookie-free backup statistics

Cloudflare Web Analytics also provides aggregate backup statistics. It runs without cookies or browser storage and does not expose individual IP addresses to the site owner.

Automatic aggregate statistics

The custom counter sends a request on each page load without using cookies or browser storage. It does not check previous analytics choices, Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals. Browser or network blocking can still prevent a request from reaching the counter.
